By downloading or using the Chickomissar app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Purpose of the App

Chickomissar is a household pantry organization utility that helps you track best-before dates, assign stock tins to planned cook days, and record when items are finished, lapsed, or discarded.

2. Food Safety Disclaimer

Chickomissar records the best-before dates and cook-day schedules that you enter or confirm. It cannot inspect physical packaging or storage conditions. Always check actual food condition, seal integrity, odor, and manufacturer storage instructions before consuming any pantry item.

3. Product Data & Attribution

Product identity suggestions returned during barcode or text lookup may originate from Open Food Facts contributors or the bundled shelf catalog. Product names are provided for convenience and may be edited before saving to your use-soon ladder.

4. Your Local Ledger

Your pantry data resides on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device or exporting CSV records from the Settings screen if you wish to keep an external copy of your history.

5. Limitation of Liability

Chickomissar is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
